A few weeks into their new life on the road, young couple Tyler (Jacob Scipio) and Maddie (Lou Llobell) are enjoying the freedom of travelling together when they come across the aftermath of a horrific accident on a remote highway. Stopping at the scene, they discover the driver has been killed, but their decision to investigate soon leaves them wishing they had simply kept driving.

Continuing their journey, Tyler and Maddie gradually realise that they didn't leave the crash site alone. Something has followed them - a malevolent supernatural presence known only as the Passenger that attaches itself to its victims and refuses to let go.

With nowhere seemingly safe and an enemy they cannot simply outrun, their idyllic van-life adventure descends into a terrifying fight for survival as the couple desperately search for a way to escape the entity before it claims them both.

Directed by André Øvredal, Passenger, released on DVD and Blu-ray 7th September 2026 from Paramount Home Entertainment, stars Jacob Scipio, Lou Llobell and Academy Award winner Melissa Leo in a supernatural road-movie nightmare where stopping to help a stranger proves to have horrifying consequences.
